Such cute animals! The top picture of Bruizer was taken with my new camera. Before when you would mouse click on pictures, they would get bigger. They still do, but with the new camera they were too big, and it was taking too long to upload. So, if you want printable copies of any of my pictures, just email me or something, and I'll get them for you!
Yesterday we went to the YMCA, and got ready for today! I dropped Sam off at Steph's for the week, along with my hanging plant. He seemed real happy to see other cats. I don't know if he has ever seen another cat. I went grocery shopping, and I think we have enough stuff to make it through the week. The blog will not have any new posts until we return, sorry! I won't be responding to emails, text messages or facebooks....so if you really want to get a hold of me, you'll have to call the cabin.

Amber

My key chain was being used as a pendent for Mango. Nice.
Yesterday we went to the movies! Connor and I went to see Kung Fu Panda at a special kids showing in the morning. We got there early, because I was told they sell out. That was unnecessary. So we had to wait 30 minutes before the movie started. He got a little antsy sitting in the theater seats. He doesn't really weigh enough to keep the seat folded down, so his knees kept touching his chest. It was pretty cute. I should have taken a picture!
He made it about an hour into the movie. There was a scene where it was kind of a montage of a baby tiger growing up. For some reason it really upset him. He started crying real tears and saying "Baby gone, no baby, baby back, baby, baby, baby." He never really regained composure, and I asked him if he wanted to go home, and he said yes. So we left. The whole car ride home he kept talking about the baby tiger.
John went to Adam's birthday lunch at Jefferson's. Con and I just weren't ready to go back down town after the movie theater. We spent the rest of the afternoon playing at home inside. In the evening John went over to Bob's to work on I don't know what.
Tomorrow we leave for vacation! Sammy starts his tonight. My dear friend Steph has offered to watch Sammy cat at her home. She has 2 cats already, so hopefully Sam will play nice. She loves cats, so he probably won't want to come home. I'd miss him though. He's my sweetie.

Bean Bags

Here are some action shots of us playing bean bag toss on Sunday. Since then I've spray painted them blue. I wanted pink and orange, but I was out-voted. In the second and third picture you can see the bags flying through the air. Trying some action photography!
Yesterday was a busy day! We went to the YMCA (where he let a very special girl hold and play with Arf), library, returned a video to Walgreen's, stopped by the playground. John came home for lunch, and since there was some sort of fire at a substation, the power was out in Goodview, so we went and watched John get a hair cut. Stopped at Target together, actually bought CDs, a video game and card game. The power was back on by the time we got home, so John went back to work and I did a little work as well. Con and I went down town to another park and met up with the Kelners for some playtime, I even went down a super scary slide. After John got home from work, we went to Farm and Fleet (or is it Fleet Farm?) together. Connor went to bed, and John and I played three rounds of Monopoly Deal then watched a movie. Whew, busy.
Oh, while John was getting his hair cut, Con kept saying something, and it was figured out to be "Dada, dress". Because John had one of those hair cutting capes off. Funny. AND, I lost my bellybutton ring 2 days ago and was complaining about it again, and Con comes back with it in his hand, holds it out to me and says "Mama's". He wouldn't tell me where it came from, but I gave him ice cream from bringing it to me. I'll try to write more about the funny little things he is saying now.
Today there is $1 movies playing downtown, so Con and I plan on checking that out. I've never taken him to a movie theater, so this should be fun!
Is everyone keeping up with Color Week at Colorware? My favorite color is Mango, but the second favorite is still coming out! Everyone be ready!

Happy Fourth
On Saturday night we went down to River fest in La Crosse with the Cleasbys, Scoville's and Hudson. Good times were had by all. We had dinner and watched the fireworks. I don't think the Riverfest fireworks were as big as the Eau Claire ones, but they had a nice set up along the river.
Yesterday we went to the YMCA and Walgreens. Connor and I spent some time outside playing bean bags together. He's good at fetching them for me.
We are getting ready for vacation! There is seating available in the Jeep for anyone who would like to join us!!!
Oh! And it's another Color Week at Colorware! Yesterday's color was Mango, named after my sweet lil puppy. Be sure to check out all the new colors as they are released this week. Big stuff.

Hop with Aunt Jess

Jessica and Aaron spent Saturday night here, and were here when sweet little Connor came back home. He was so happy to see Aunt Jess. They went hopping together. He was very sad when she left. He wanted her to take him with. Poor guy. He ended up taking a monster long nap, and we spent the rest of the afternoon playing bean bag toss together in the backyard. He's pretty good at it.

Mississippi River
Friday night we went camping on the Mississippi river with a group of friends. We took out the Klink's awesome pontoon and had a very nice time on the sandy barge cove things. Good times were had by all. The following day we went to "The Cove" restaurant in Buffalo City. That place may go on the list. Everyone's order was screwed up, and they didn't even bring me my food. I had to share a half cup of coffee from Bob. They didn't make us pay for the meal, so that was nice, but really, all I had was a half of a coffee...
Last night was Riverfest in La Crosse. I have a few pictures of that I'll try and get up!

The Machines

Here I am driving an end loader! Pretty wild, right?
Yesterday we went to the YMCA, library, and Walgreens. I had a chiropractor appointment in the evening, then went for a walk with Kari.
