Puzzles

Working on the puzzles John gave him.  Also, check out the watch from Elliot & Leighton.  He loves it, he uses it to make sure we are not late to preschool.

He gets these little homework packets from preschool, and this week's one was with the Little Red Hen book.  It's a book about a hen who asks for help from her friends, and they always say no, so she just does everything herself (plant the seeds, reap the wheat, take it to the mill, make the dough, bake the bread) and when it comes for time to eat the bread, everyone wants to help with that.  But the hen says no, since no one would help her.  After John read the story, Connor says, "But mommy does all the work, and she still shares with us."  I was trying to hold back a laugh so hard, I started crying instead.  At least someone notices all the work I do!

Monte went home today around noon.  We are very sad about it, he is the best doggie ever.  All he does is want to be loved.

In the afternoon we went over to Matt & Laura's home to watch the football game.  It was a lot of fun, with lots and lots of kids there.  John scared a little girl, she called him a grizzly bear to her dad.  At one point, I went upstairs to check on the Connor, he was the "baby" and he had 3 "mommies" taking care of him.  All sorts of new girl toys for him to check out.  Girl Zhu Zhus, Zwinkies, and doll houses.
